Determinacy vs. Condition-Dependence

The crucial tension in seed theory: "Determinacy" — wholesome causes only produce wholesome results, no exchange. "Condition-dependence" — seeds require conditions to ripen. The first prevents thinking merit cancels demerit. The second prevents fatalism. You can't transform a wholesome seed into an unwholesome one, but you can change which seeds get activated. Practice operates in that space.
