Ullambana Ceremony Registration

On the fifteenth of the seventh lunar month the temple holds the Ullambana ceremony. Here a student may register lotus tablets for departed family and ancestors, and blessing tablets for the living; the resident community recites and dedicates the merit during the ceremony. Every registration is read by the guest office and a confirmation is sent to your mailbox; the offering has no set amount and is made after registering, as one is able.

Memorial · Lotus Tablet for the Departed: A lotus tablet for departed family, ancestors, or those to whom one owes a debt; the assembly recites and dedicates merit that they be freed from suffering and born in the Pure Land.
Blessing · Tablet for the Living: A tablet for the living — family members named for the dispelling of calamity, health of body and mind, and the growth of merit and wisdom.
