The Buddha's Final Words
Three months before parinirvāṇa, the Buddha's final teaching wasn't advanced emptiness or cosmology. It was the 37 factors — all seven categories. "This Dharma leads to liberation." Then: "All phenomena are impermanent; do not be heedless." A person's final words are the distillation of their life. The Buddha chose this system as his last message.
