The Buddha's Guide to Wealth

"Observe today those families of great wealth — know that their families have long practiced generosity with sincerity and tranquility, and for this reason they enjoy such blessings." — Saṃyuktāgama, fascicle 32. The Buddha didn't say "skilled with tools" or "shrewd in business." He said "long-night generosity, sincere and tranquil." Sustained giving with a pure heart. That is the direct cause of wealth. Not a greeting card — a precise statement of causal law.
