In order to provide irrigation for 22 acres of avocado orchids on the property, Waken Temple has started the Santa Barbara Well Project.
Starting Nov 6th 2006, the company will drill down to an estimated 800 feet underground in order to reach the optimal geographical layer for the water reserve. The project requires 3 to 6 weeks to complete and the water output is estimated to be around 24 gallon per minute.
